What inspires you?
The thought of building a brighter future for my daughters and all women.

In Sacramento...Mikunis...and anywhere else...any place that serves delicious fresh sushi!
What’s the most interesting thing about you that most people don’t know?
I wouldn't say it is the MOST interesting thing...but people do find it interesting...I was Miss Idaho 1999 and was in the 2000 Miss America Pageant.
At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?
I wouldn't max-out my card at a store...but I'd do it for an incredible vacation!
What was your favorite TV show when growing up?
Little House on the Prairie
Can you play any instruments? If so, which ones?
Yes, flute and guitar. I was also classically trained as a vocalist...at one time.
What is your superpower?
Raising two amazing little girls.
You find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million. What would you do?
Pay-off debt, secure my kiddos futures, gift my parents and then treat my extended family to an incredible vacation!!
Who is your female hero?
My mom is my 'hero.' But I do admire the work of Marie Curie and Tina Fey. (random, I know...but I have very specific reasons.)
What charity(s) are you involved with?
Wow...a lot. It is a part of my job. Some to name a few: Children's Miracle Network, Make-A-Wish, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, My Sister's House ext...
What local community change would you like to see?
A focus on public safety and equality.

Are there other types of events or services you’d like to see WomenUp offer?
'A Day in The Life Of' events: an opportunity for women to give a presentation and Q/A about their field of expertise. Help others understand what is involved and give insite for those who are interested. Example: I'd do a tour of the TV station and give a Q&A after for a group of interested women.
Is there some skill you’d like to offer to provide for the benefit of WomenUp members?
I am happy to act as a resource to help others navigate media.
