About Jillian Bruschera

I am an interdisciplinary artist specializing in graphic design, arts education, creative consulting, production assistance, art direction, community organizing, and social practice. I received a M.FA. in Interdisciplinary Arts with a focus in Book & Paper Arts from Columbia College Chicago in 2014. I also hold a B.A. in Visual Communications and a B.A. in Studio Art (Drawing & Painting) from Loyola University Chicago in 2010.

Since 2014 I have been operating The Mobile Mill, a traveling paper studio. This project has traveled extensively, forging partnerships with 70+ institutions across the U.S. as well as internationally.

In recent years, I have been utilizing my excellent people and communication skills via a managerial Project Engineer in the San Francisco construction industry. I have gained experience in property development and management which I look to further in the Sacramento area.

I stay active as a skater for the Sacramento Roller Derby, and I take pre-med classes at Sac City College. In my free time, I can be found at any one of our great, local coffee shops here in town.
