About Beatrice Tetteh, MD, MPH

I am a native Midwesterner that has made Sacramento my home over the past eight years.

My career in medicine was formed out of my interest in how the human body functions along with my ability to interact well with others. I selected teh field of Peditrics because I appreciated the aspect of building relationships with a child and the family, as well as the ability to help reinforce healthy choices at a young age that will hopefully carry on into adulthood. Addressing childhood obesity and mental health are my two areas of focus. My medical knowledge is also put to work as the Pediatrics clerkship director at a local medical school. It is a great responsiblity to teach these student doctors about Pediatrics as well as how to carry themselves as future physicians.

When I am not busy with clinical responsibilities, I enjoy furniture upcycling projects and photography.
